How is this different from Blinkist, Readwise or NotebookLM?
Those tools summarize, store or help you think. Insight works on the stretch they leave out: turning what you read into decisions, conversations, experiments and tracked habits, using your role and projects as context. It doesn't replace deep reading and doesn't want to be your library.
Do I need to import my books?
No. You register the source (title and author are enough), paste your notes or clippings if you have them, and capture highlights while you read. Insight works with what you capture, not the book's full text.
How does the AI use my data?
To generate an artifact, Insight sends OpenAI your source material (title, notes, highlights) and your application context. It never sends your email or account data, and we don't store AI prompts or responses beyond the artifact you see.
What if I run out of credits?
You can keep reading and capturing without limits: credits only measure AI. Your quota renews monthly with your plan, and you can buy a one-off pack without subscribing.
